Famous last words

So far so good. The plan to make chapter lists in dot points is going spiffingly. I’ve spotted all kinds of holes in the plot that I would otherwise not have realised until I’d finished the first draft. This is a weird way of writing for me. I fell for all the world like I’m procrastinating. Writing isn’t making lists, writing is writing, tapping at a keyboard like I am right now. There is an element of procrastination of course, but I have the faintest notion that once I’m satisfied with the chapter summaries, I’ll be able to write the story pretty quickly.

Famous last words if I ever heard them.

  1. Hi Simon,
your boy is gorgeous. I can imagine that he would be quite a distraction. Beneath that innocent smile lies a cheeky devil just waiting to wreak havoc!

    Good Luck with your novel.

  2. Hi Nichole,
I like the boy, he’s my kind of people. Most of the distraction involves containing potential havoc. Thanks for the well wishes for the novel. I may need the luck. You did see the scan of my notes…
